We're glad you've decided to join us. The Church has been here since 1878 and for over 140 years we have endeavored to be a positive center in the community. We are located in downtown Boise on State St. between 9th and 10th.
Our First Light worship service meets at 8:45 in the morning, in Lindsay Hall. This service offers informal praise and prayer, as well as conversations on scripture. Our Praise Band leads this "come-as-you-are" service.
Our 10:45 am service meets in our Sanctuary and follows elements of Reformed Worship and includes traditional organ led hymns, choir and a sermon with communion celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
Christian education classes meet at 9:30. A fellowship hour follows the 10:45 morning worship service in our fellowship hall.
Young children are welcome to attend the service with their family, but there is also a children's chapel they may attend. Children's chapel starts after the children's message part of the service and runs for the remainder. A nursery is also available if you need it.

Should I arrive early?
Arriving 10 minutes early is never a bad thing and will certainly ease any parking issues that may arise from getting here late. Arriving early is also a pleasant time to listen to the music, meet those sitting around you and relax for a moment prior to worship service. Late arrivals are still welcomed and seated.
What should I wear to Sunday service?
Wear what you think is appropriate. We have people that wear sport coats and dresses (often not the same person, mind you) and those who find jeans more comfortable. We are more concerned with seeing you here on a Sunday than being concerned about your attire.
Where should I park?
There are a limited number of spaces behind the church and additional spaces on the street (north side of State St. and both sides of 10th St.). On Sundays, there are additional parking spaces in the lot on the SE corner of 10th and State streets, just across the street from the church.
Do you have Sunday School? Where should I go? How do I check-in?
We do have Sunday School and from what our children tell us, it is a lot of fun. We would recommend arriving about 10 minutes early and tell the greeters that you are interested in Sunday school and they will direct you accordingly. Any other questions should be directed to Pastor Andrew Kukla.
Is there a nursery available?
Yes. Just ask the greeters as you arrive and they will point you in the right direction.
Do you offer adult Christian education?
Yes, there is. We have a variety of on-going and engaging classes for enriching an adults understanding of the bible. More information can be gained from a conversation with Rev. Andrew Kukla, or Rev. Katey Schwind.
What if I have questions that aren't listed here?
We are eager to answer any other questions you may have. Simply give us a call us at 345-3441. See you on Sunday.
