​Andrew is the Head of Staff at FPC Boise. He has the privilege of working with a great team and walking alongside our special community in downtown Boise. He affectionately thinks of us as “a quirky family who has a lot of fun taking their faith seriously.” Andrew is active in supporting Mission and Adult Education at FPC Boise. He is the primary preacher here and gets to deal with all the institutional stuff that no-one particularly loves. His greatest joy in church life is watching connections within the community grow and flourish. It's exciting for him to see people recognize what a vital and important part of our lives a community of faith can become.

Ruth has served as both a pastor and denominational executive throughout Georgia and Florida before retiring to Boise with her husband John.  She served as the Presbytery of Boise’s Stated Clerk and then retired in full, until God dragged her back out of retirement to work as a part-time visitation pastor here at FPC Boise.  Ruth assists in worship and home visits and sits on the Pastoral Care team of the church.  Ruth has long been a gift to this congregation, and she has always shared her talents and immense passion for this church.

Abigail grew up in Burien, Washington (a south suburb of Seattle), and she moved here in 2014 to attend Boise State University.  Abigail worked full-time at the YMCA Children’s Village preschool, part-time at Bogus Basin, and as our nursery worker while she put herself through school, graduating with a degree in sociology.  She got married last year to her husband Carl, and together they enjoy the life of outdoor sport enthusiasts, participating in triathlons and cycling by summer and downhill skiing by winter.  She is the primary staff support to Children and Youth Sunday school, LOGOS, and youth group.

​As one who is passionate about church music, Ryan is excited to be a part of a thriving faith community in downtown Boise.  Prior to joining the team in 2018, Ryan enjoyed three years as organist and later Canon for Music just down the street at St. Michael’s Episcopal Cathedral.  From 2000-2013, Ryan served as Minister of Music for the historic All Pilgrims Christian Church in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. During his time in Seattle, Ryan also served a term as Dean of the Seattle Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Ryan enjoys teaching, skiing and exploring the beauty of Idaho with his wife Heather. Heather is a professional singer and elementary school music teacher. Together they have two children: Palmer and Magnolia.

Duncan can probably be found at his desk in the church office. He will probably be the one who answers the phone if you call.  Working in the office for over ten years, Duncan has the experience to answer almost any question you can think of. If he doesn't know the answer, he will certainly know who does! If you become involved with FPC, you will get to know Duncan and experience his helpful demeanor.

Kathy began as a part-time bookkeeper in August 2007. While she enjoys attending to the detailed financial aspects of the church, she also finds it a privilege to nurture relationships at FPC.  Outside of her work here, Kathy is an ordained Mennonite minister. She serves as a part-time administrative pastor for a Mennonite church in Caldwell. Additionally, Kathy provides bookkeeping services for a few small business in the Boise area. She finds great joy in sharing married life with her husband Scott while walking alongside her two young adult sons - who are presently pursuing college degrees. Kathy loves to cook and bake. In the moments she has to herself, she often takes a bike ride on the beautiful roads of Idaho.
