YMCA Daycare
The YMCA is our largest partner. Their infant program, Children's Village, provides care for children ranging from 6 weeks through pre-k. They are open from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. The main entrance is on the north side of the building, just past the fire escape. For more information, call 208-345-6408.
Ready, Set, Go!
"Ready, Set, Go!" is a partner of the YMCA. They work with children with intellectual disabilities to give them the support they need to become functional members of our society. Students receive one-on-one help from highly qualified teachers.
12 Step Groups
We have several 12 Step Groups that meet at our church. The most popular, The Lunch Bunch, meets at 12 pm Monday through Saturday. They meet on the sixth floor. Perhaps the most convenient entrance is up the fire escape along the north side of the building. If you have any questions, please call the office.
After School Program
The YMCA also has an after-school program, 9th Street Kids, for older children. Grades 2 through 6 can be bused to FPC and be in a safe place until parents get off of work. For more information call: 208-336-8872
Scouts
First Presbyterian has a long and treasured history with scout groups. We first chartered a boy scout group in 1915. Scouts is an opportunity for youth to have engaged adults in their lives. Scouts teaches leadership and integrity.
